Process a sold listing - admin guide

When a listing is sold here are the steps to change the listing's status in SalesPartner.

Click into the listing and open the Listing tab. Drop down the status options and select Confirmed / SOLD.

Enter the contract Date, Sale Price and Selling Agent ID. Then click Create Sales Record

In Gallery click Refresh if the sold listing is still showing under Available. You can access the listing information via the Sold tab or through Sales.

Notes for website uploads

Trade Me: The listing must be withdrawn manually via https://www.trademe.co.nz/mytrademe

Realestate.co.nz: Complete a normal batch upload with the sold listing excluded - it will be removed automatically once the feed is processed (twice daily, typically by 3pm for uploads completed prior to 11am and by midnight for uploads completed after 3pm).

REAXML including Homes.co.nz, Neighbourly, OneRoof.co.nz, Hougarden: The sold listing must be uploaded with it's new status via the Sold tab in Gallery. Select it normally and upload via the web publishing icon. Note that partial uploads are accepted for REAXML feeds.

Troubleshoot uploading Rentals to Trade Me API

An office administrator encountered failure errors when attempting to upload a new rental listing to Trade Me.

Through trial and error it was discovered that the price had been entered manually into the price comment field instead of formulated using the search price field.

For a rental property the price per week amount must be entered into the search field (under Listing Entry, Listing tab, Pricing). Then in Comment select '<$>'. The display price will show underneath as in the example below.

Improved Realestate.co.nz listing import system:

The price preview is now displayed,
The new listing finder retrieves data from the new modern website instead of the old classic pages,
The download will persistently retry several times if errors occur,
All office listings are fetched instead of only the latest 20.

The Gallery now has a context menu that appears when you right-click on a listing row:

The Contacts grid also has a context menu:

Using Select All (or Ctrl + A) in the Gallery and Contacts now retains the original vertical scroll point instead of repositioning.

The default and minimum vertical height of a restored down window is reduced in order to fit better for x768 height displays such as remote desktop protocol sessions.

In Contacts, the execution has been tweaked to more reliably show phone and email contact details (if enabled) for larger databases without requiring a refresh.
